Hi! This Envelope book was made for today’s stampin’ B’s Challenge.

I wanted to use inexpensive small zip lock bags for the “envelopes.” So, that meant I had to use a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” and a 5 ½” x 5 ¼” sheet. I folded the longer sheet at 1”. This was VERY easy, as I placed the plastic bags, filled with images, photos, etc in the book and used a Crop a Dile to punch the holes to hold the ribbon.

The image was stamped in Noir onto watercolor paper. I used Pearlescent watercolors to color in the image. (I colored to images. One was used on the inside.)

The image is a Sneak Peek of Blackberries, Sunflowers and Bees being released next Wednesday by Mark’s Finest Papers.
Above you can see that I decorated the inside front cover.

Here you can see the BACK of brag book and how I folded over the bag at the top and where the holes were punched for the ribbon.
Have a GREAT day!

Today's Inspired Card

Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.

I wanted to use this tulip today, as I have a shower curtain that has tulips on the border and I look at it every time I go into the bathroom. I even see it in the mirror when I brush my teeth, so you can imagine how often I see this shower curtain!

Here's a close up of the border.
I stamped the tulip onto Snow Storm Smooth with Noir and sponged on Sunflower and Orangerie for the petals and Landscape and Jardin Moss for the stem. I ran the small rectangle through the Wizard with a Impressabilities die.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Time to complete: 32 minutes

A color challenge...

Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combo Challenge: Bermuda, Celery, Hunter and Pink!

I don't have some of the colors, so out came my Palette and Nik Bantock Inks along with my sponge daubers. I stamped the image in Noir and sponged on Toile Pink for my "splash of pink." Next, I used Palette Chartreuse for Celery. Water Lily Green is close to Bermuda, so I sponged that onto the edges. Next, I used Nik Bantock Sapmoss Green and Prussian Blue blended together make Hunter!

The leaf is a Spellbinders die leaf that I sponged on Prussian Blue to mimic Hunter.

Finished Card Size: 5" square
Total Time to complete: 19 minutes.

Paper Quilting and A SNEAK PEEK!

Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Paper Quilting.

I decided my quilt needed a little spring! And, since my mom and I are currently designing a "In the Tile Quilt," I decided today's paper quilt would mimic our quilt's colors and "tile" look. It was pretty easy, I took a bunch of scraps from my 7 Gypsies paper and put it across the Spellbinder's die.

I cut them out and use scissors to cut them down to create smaller pieces. I used double sided tape to put them in place.

The focal image is a SNEAK PEEK!!! It was stamped in Noir. The background was sponged in with Palette Inks. The Ripened Tomato panel was stamped (many times!) in VersaMark with the focal image and embossed with gold.

Finished Card Size: 5" square
Total Time to complete: 47 minutes.

Here's Another Sneak!

Hi! This card was made for today's Clean And Simple Challenge: Valentines Day.

I wanted to participate in today's challenge, but didn't have much time. So, it's best to go with what you know, right?

The base was embossed with an Impressabilities die. The heart is a Spellbinders die that I stamped with a fern from Our Family Tree, (soon to be released!), in Noir onto the heart with the sentiment.

Finished card size: 4 3/4" square.
Total Time to complete: 7 minutes

Want to see a SUPER EARLY SNEAK PEEK???

Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge: Ardodd. Participants were to CASE, (Copy And Share Everything) a card from the Featured Stamper's Gallery. I chose this card. Because Ann used a chicken image on her card, I couldn't help myself...I had to whip this image out and use it! (It will be released in FEBRUARY!)

I changed: Stamp set, and moved the ribbon. I also used designer papers instead of card stock for most of the layers.

The chick was stamped in Noir onto Snow Storm Smooth and cut out. Next, I sponged around the chick in Palette inks: Paris Lights, Sun Flower and Orangerie.

Finished Card Size: 5 1/2" square
Total Time to complete: 26 minutes

Image Too Big???? Here's a Quick and Easy Solution!

Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Design Spirit Studio. I chose this clock as inspiration.

I have a large Dragonfly stamp and a clock face that I knew would work for this challenge. However, the dragonfly was too big....What to do???? I stamped the dragonfly in Noir and cut it out, trimming down the wings and the tail!

I sponged on some Palette inks and then watercolored LIGHTLY with Silver Pearlescent and VIOLA! Next, I stamped the clock face in VersaMark and embossed in White Detail. I used Spellbinders circles to cut out the center, face and the outline. The background and the border are Spellbinders dies, too.

Here's the cut out of the dragonfly! If you look closely, you can see that I just followed the outline! EASY!

All supplies to complete this card came from Mark's Finest Papers.
Have a GREAT day!
