Speedy Fox Featured Designer - Brenda O'Rear

I’m Brenda O’Rear, known to many as Benzi. I live in the south in the State of Alabama with my hubby and he really supports my hobby. To hear his opinion, all my cards are winners even if I know some of them are headed straight to the trash can.

I’ve worked with Mark’s Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company since January and am a Design Team member for Friends of Speedy TV and I am also on the Sr. Design Team.

 At one time, my favorite hobby was needlepointing to make pretty pillows and framed pieces for my home.  That all changed when I decided to do some scrapbooking. I was enjoying that hobby but my sister kept wanting me to join her in making cards.  I certainly had no interest in that. She even gave me a large supply of stamps and crafting goodies. That sat around my house for about a year and I gave it all back. Shoot me!  I would go into Hobby Lobby and think they would surely discontinue selling all those stamps…what on earth did anyone do with them? Little did I know. To make a long story short, my sister ran into someone in her Hobby Lobby and she told her about Splitcoaststampers. I took a look and was amazed  so I made my first card and that was it!! I am now addicted and have been making cards for 3 1/2 years.
