As it is with all our design teams when you enter a card to the challenge you will be entered to win a free stamp set and if you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your name will be entered twice. Just think of all the cool techniques you could learn. If you join us for our monthly blog hops you might have said to yourself how did they do that card, well here is your chance to learn how. We hope to have lots of fun with this design team and teaching everyone fun, creative, easy to follow, and informative techniques. Our challenges will be every Friday and you can submit as many cards as you would like to the challenges. You do have to be a member of SpeedyTV to play along. But don't fret joining SpeedyTV is FREE!!!!! Not only do you get to play along with the challenges on SpeedyTV, you can join the swaps, learn new techniques, stamping tips and tricks, and so much more. Now lets meet our team:
I am passionate about many things and my favorite thing is to watch my girls play soccer. I also love music, dancing, biking, hiking and camping, too. When not doing something with or for my girls, my biggest passion is paper! I’ve been making my own greeting cards for as long as I can remember. I do believe I am a paper hoarder! I succumbed to stamping in 2006 when I went to a SU! Party and as everyone says, “The rest is history!”My journey with MFP’s a Heinrich CO. as a design team member began in April of 2011. I feel very fortunate to have personally met Lois and some other awesome people in the stamping world. I feel blessed to be a member of this great company and to be able to share my love of stamping and creativity. I am a big fan of using fun, different techniques. Today, I will be illustrating the great technique; faux linen. Just a few fairly simple steps and you have a really beautiful creation.

I live in Kenosha, WI. I have been a part of the Mark’s
Finest Papers family since August of 2011. I started stamping in 2004. I took
a 5 year hiatus until I met a great woman. Chrissy D, who is very known in the stamping world. She got me back into stamping and even helped me set up my blog. I began
stamping when a group of ladies took me to a stamp camp for another stamping
company back in 2004. I enjoyed myself so much I was hooked. I stamped for
awhile and then along came my three beautiful girls (5,4and 2), which put
stamping in the backseat along with so many other things. Now that they are
getting a little older I have found my love for stamping again. I also enjoy
scrapbooking which I don’t seem to have as much time for. I am married to a wonderful man that I met
when I was working for Domino’s Pizza. I always joked with my drivers )which he
was one of) that I was going to marry Liam, and 3 years later we were married.
Since I have been back into the stamping scene I have been striving to step it
up a bit so I am always wanting to learn new techniques and folds. You will be
seeing all that I learn not only on the blog hops but on my blog as well.
I am a wife of
48 years, married to my college sweetheart, Mom to 3 grown children, and
Grandma to 7 beauties! My passion is stamping, and you will find me in my
addicti...ahem...craft room every day. I love to check up on events at SCS
daily, and I frequently submit cards to my gallery there. My favorite color is
RED, and I make a RED card as often as I can! I am certainly a RedDiva!
Hi my name is Jane Chambers. I
am married to the love of my life and best friend of 32 years. We
have three grown daughters that are married and 5 very handsome
grandsons. My husband and I live in the state of Utah in
a small mining town in the beautiful mountains about 100 miles out of Salt Lake
City. We both retired and moved to Eureka 2 years ago. It
is a quite and lovely community. It's very very rural though with no cell
service or stores. I miss going to my craft stores when I wanted and now
they are 50 miles away. I use the Internet a lot to buy things.
That's how I found Marks Finest Paper. I love the stamps sets and
love to create cards using them. All the sets are wonderful to
make scenes or just to add accents to any design. I am honored to have
been chosen to be on the challenge design team. I will try and make them
proud. I have been crafting most of my
life dabbling in one thing or another. I found card making about 6 years
ago when I went to a CTMH party. After that I was hooked. My other
passion is crochet. I love to make just about anything and love to try
the old vintage patterns.
Hi,
my name is Kathy Bradley and I am a proud member of the Senior Design Team and
Tutorial Time Team for Mark’s Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. I live in a small town northeast of
Springfield, Illinois and I am happily married to the love of my life. I have one handsome and charming son, a
lovely daughter-in-law and a very cute (almost) 16 year old grandson. I retired in November of 2009 – organized my
closets by color (I know); drawers, etc., etc., In January of 2010, a lawyer
friend that I previously worked with - called and asked me if I would like to
work 3 hours a day – 3 days a week.
Well, having organized everything I could get my hands on – I said
yes. So, now, I’m still retired from
full-time work, but have a little part-time job 8-9 hours each week – I know
that’s not much work – but it gets me into Springfield 3 mornings each week and
I run my errands, shop, etc. I began
scrapbooking in 2007 and making cards in 2008 and I’ve been on the journey ever
since. I continue to learn from the
challenges, techniques and blogs I visit.
I’ve made so many wonderful friends during this journey and hope that I
continue on this path for a long time – making friends and learning!
I was raised on a farm in Texas (and I’m still a country
girl) & moved to beautiful southern Oregon where I had my 2 sons.
When they were 5 & 6 I married my wonderful husband and suddenly found
myself step mom to 2 teenage boys (and yes they all lived with us & I was a
little "teenager challenged" at first). My first grandchild was
born in 2000 and shortly after his birth I attended a Creative Memories
scrapbooking party at a co-worker’s home. That was the real beginning of
my crafting! I scrapped grandchildren’s memories very faithfully for
about 8 years (total of 4 grandchildren now). Then I discovered CARD
MAKING and I have to say I am sooo far behind in scrap booking, because I
absolutely LOVE making cards for friends and family! One of my favorite techniques to make a scene using stamps and sponging
backgrounds, and I get a lot of my inspiration from Michelle Zindorf.
I discovered "JOY of Blog Challenges" and entered a very simple card in my first challenge in Dec.
2009. Through looking at other ladies entries, I followed their links to
the other challenges they had entered and WALLA, WHOOPIE I discovered Mark’s
Finest Papers & I have been entering challenges here at Mark’s Finest
Papers since October of 2010. I am so happy to become a part of the
new Tutorial Time Design Team here at MPF!
I’m Lois, and this is my second go-round demonstrating a
tutorial for the MFP Blog and Speedy TV.
I’ve been a member of the Senior
Design Team for Mark’s Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, since Day One, back
in 2009. Like the founder of Mark’s
Finest Papers, I live in Florida
– although like most Floridians, I was born somewhere else. I am a transplant from rural Bucks
County, Pennsylvania, having moved
to Florida in
1968. I’m a widow; my husband of 41
years died in 2003. I have three grown
children and eight grandchildren – ranging in age from 21 down to 3. I got into this addictive hobby like many
others – I attended a Stampin’ Up workshop at my best friend’s house, knowing
absolutely nothing about rubber stamping.
I felt rather overwhelmed by the scope of what the demonstrator showed
us, so I bought just one stamp set, a couple of ink pads and some paper. And, as happens to all of us, the rest is
history!!! That was in 2005. Here I am seven years later, completely absorbed
into the craft of stamps and ink! I do
enjoy learning new techniques. One of
my favorites is masking, both regular and reverse. I also like doing fun folds, creating a
3-dimensional look.
Hi, my name is Pam Stang and I am originally from
Ohio. I moved to Colorado after marrying Jeff in 1988. We have two
beautiful, smart, talented and athletic girls. Bailey is almost 21 and
MacKenna is 17. Both of them play soccer. Bailey is an assistant
coach for high school and MacKenna plays center forward. MacKenna will be
playing college soccer on a scholarship. Soon, we will be empty nesters!
Hi
my name is Pat. I live in sunny Central Florida moving here in 2005 from
Northeast Ohio. My husband and I live on a small farm. We raise Berkshire pigs.
You can also find a couple cows, dogs, a flock of chickens and various wild
creatures that roam our pastures. My 4 children have all flown the coop. The
youngest is in college hoping to work with Shamu or work in a zoo when she graduates.
I have been on the MFP a HC Sr. DT since january 2012. I started stamping back in 2004. My daughter
wanted to learn to scrap book. The park programs in our county in Ohio were
awesome. We spent many hours participating in hikes and crafts of all kinds.
This time they were having a scrapbook night. You could make a page or make 3
cards. My daughter made her page and I made 3 cards. Been hooked ever since. I
especially love trying techniques and making my own backgrounds to use on my
cards instead of designer paper. I truly find this a
relaxing hobby.
My
name is Tammylee, I have two grown sons and have been married almost 30
years to my best friend. We live in Northern Wisconsin so I have a lot of time
to work on my projects in the Winter. The rest of the year I buy out my time. I
have loved crafts all my life. I started my first scrapbook when I was in 7th
grade. I was the Historian for my OEA club in High school. I design for Mark's Finest Papers A Heinrich
Company
